Maddison Pine | About Us

Maddison Pine is an international professional services firm headquartered in London which provides consulting services in corporate governance, strategy, and business transformation.

We work with change-oriented boards to help them make better decisions, convert those decisions to actions and deliver measurable and sustainable value for their organisations.

We advise boards on their most critical areas of oversight:

Strategy, Risk, HR & Talent, IT, Digitalisation, Credit, Finance, Crisis, and Organisational Culture.

Although everything we do is underpinned by sound academic research, we are practitioners, first and foremost.

Our uniqueness is demonstrated in the shifts we see in our clients and their organisations as we build what we call ‘behaviours of governance’.

At Maddison Pine, Corporate Governance is holistic:

  • Governance as Compliance
  • Governance as Leadership
  • Governance as Performance
  • Governance as Behaviours
  • Governance as Legacy

…………..working inside out.

Our Mission is to partner with Boards in building the capacity and capabilities to achieve the praxis of Corporate Governance for driving organisational transformation, institutional building, and the economic development of nations.

We Serve and Support

Although we have extensive experience in working across all sectors, our passion is for serving and supporting the public sector and state-owned enterprises.

Why? Corporate Governance in the private sector has come a long way since the time of the East India Company, the first joint-stock company in the world.

There has been progress since the publication of the Cadbury Report in December 1992 in the United Kingdom and the Sarbannes-Oxley Act (2002) in the United States of America.

The public sector and the state-owned-enterprises sector are still following behind the public sector because of the peculiarities of the sectors and the role of government in corporate governance. At Maddison Pine we take pride and joy in partnering with governments and their agencies in building good governance and leadership.

We believe that if we can help to create an enabling environment for good governance, promote governance as leadership, and close the gap between governance and performance – we can help to bring about benefits that improve the well-being of citizens and strengthen economies.
